nspired by his natural instincts of providing quality and flattery to women, Courtney Washington started creating his patterns at the age of 9. At the age of 17, opened his first Fashion Studio in Kingston, Jamaica. He then left for the 'Big Apple' for formal training at the renowned Pratt Institute followed by the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT). In 1998, Courtney opened his first boutique in the United States where he designed for celebrities and notaries and was featured in North American publications and television series such as Essence Magazine, Women’s Wear Daily,
B2b Magazine and BET’s Rip the Runway. He has been ranked amongst the Top 5 best designers for full-figured women by CBS-a major broadcast company.He has acquired a host of citations and awards including:

He has shared his wealth of knowledge lecturing at one of the debut Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs); Atlanta University as well as the design school in Accra Ghana.
